I love Friday's at the Missouri Star Quilt Company!
They always have a new video tutorial to watch.
This one just caught my eye!
It was a simple idea......you've probably seen the
Flying Geese using a folded strip between 2 background fabrics.
Open it up, fold it down, and it makes a Flying Geese block.
This was the same idea......just roll the open edge and sew it down,
causing a rounded edge appearance.
My sewing must have been off here and there because
I ended up with some geese not fully attached!
Had to go back and resew.
Then I was worried that the quilter would have a hard time
with the open edges so I double sewed them down.
But I do LOVE it!
And Lisa loved it too!!
IF I ever make it again........I will be much more careful in my sewing of the blocks,
making sure I catch every seam fully!
Happy Quilting! Lynda

I've just recently watched that video from Missouri Star Quilt Company and was impressed with the quilt. I love yours too; it's very elegant and will fit almost any decor. I think it's probably a good idea to sew the open edges down.
