Here is a close up of a few stars and a view of the back. It was so fun to see the surprise on his face and the laughter at the stories behind the fabric choices, the wacky star, the frustrating strings that seem to multiply as I pick them off, the floral on a manly man quilt (to remember his softer side when dealing with people) etc.
Here is Colton, all 6' 4" of him, happy with his new quilt. His mom had to take a picture of me standing with him....he quipped that he would have to lower the quilt so I could be seen. Funny kid.
Boy I sure love our neighbor kids. I've been able to watch most of them grow up from toddlers to leaving home for college.
No other big quilts in the making right now but a lot of little finishes I need to be working on, and a few at the quilters. Life is good.
Happy Quilting! Lynda

Lovely quilt. You can tell that Colton loves it - he's beaming! Good job!
Another happy "boy" in your neighbourhood ;). Is he taking it to college? The quilt turned out fantastic and your long arm quilter is a fast worker, isn't she?
Have a good week ahead. Love Vreni
Oo, I'm seeing your stars, too, and aren't they grand? I love that Colton loves it, too! It's such a nice finish, Lynda, I love your fabric combination and it shows your giving heart.
