A few more pictures of the Quilt Show

I am always drawn in by the quilting!
This quilt is titled, "There's No Place Like Home".
I had to show a close up of the quilting.  It is superb!

Can you believe this Lion?

I grew up with a painting like this next quilt hanging over our piano.

"I've Got Rhythm" is the title of this quilt.
Isn't it just so cute.

I really like the wonkiness of this quilt.

I wish you could have seen this one in person.
The picture doesn't do it justice.

So sweet!

Who doesn't love red and white quilts???

Great way to feel like you are on vacation.

This "Fractured Rainbow" really caught my eye.

I love attending Quilt Shows.  I always find inspiration there.
There is something for everyone!
Gorgeous, whimsical, sweet, wonky, fun, amazing.
I just want to touch every quilt (but that's a NO-NO).

This is my latest quilt top finished.
I saw this on Missouri Star Quilt Company.
I look forward to every Friday when
there is a new tutorial.

Utah Valley Quilt Guild Show

Another UVQG Quilt Show and it was amazing!
This first quilt is made from baby clothes for a sweet little 16 month old girl.
So full of memories!

I think I will just post a few pictures so you can see how talented and diverse
quilters are in their work.

I think this might have been the most striking quilt!
The colors are so bright.
Beautiful!!

Just had to show you the quilting on this one.
Gold sparkly thread made the design on black.
It was stunning.

This paper pieced quilt used blacks, browns and white.
Always a great combination.

"There is Room for Everybody" is the title for this quilt.
Isn't it sweet with all the flowers around the homes.

A tribute to the quilter's Mother, who taught her to quilt.

I just had to take a close up of the quilting on this masterpiece!

This amazing quilt titled, "Let Us Walk in the Light" looked like a painting.
The quilter had snipped and cut and placed each piece individually
to imitate the textures of the trees, branches, leaves and ground which all
came to life with her raw edge applique.
The original inspiration came from a photograph taken by her brother-in-law.

This cute quilt, titled, "Comfy, Cozy Spots" made us all smile.
Each chair looks so inviting.

Look at the little table with a doilie and old radio.

And this one with a piece of chocolate cake ready to be enjoyed.

More tomorrow.
