I was over visiting Linda at Stray Stitches (see my side bar) a few days ago and saw she had made a
Disappearing 4-Patch block. I loved it and thought I needed to try it myself.

Above is a Charm pack called Princess from Connecting Threads that I got a couple of months ago.

Sewed them into 4 patches.

Cut them 1 inch away from the seams and mixed them up just a little. Cute tiny 4-patch in center.

Sewed them back together.....
VIOLA! Isn't that a cute and easy block. All the princess fabrics are in pink and purple. I think it will make a cute little girl princess very happy.

How fun! I want to see it finished as I think it's going to be quite a dramatic look--from a lowly 4-patch.
I'm doing the disappearing 9 patch for my next BOL but I think I'll try this one after that. So cute!
I really think these disappearing four patches are so much fun. I have to try it myself. Yours are turning out fantastic.
Beautiful! You are one busy lady!
Lovely! I started one with a Halloween charm pack...need to dig it out and finish for next year! My 6 year old grandson watched me make a few blocks..."So you just sew them together, cut them up and sew them together again?"
So glad that you went ahead with the disappearing 4 patch! I look forward to seeing the quilt you are making.
Thank you for illustrating that so well. I am STILL amazed at your energy...
Isn't it cool? I shared the process with my class, and a few have gone on the finish something- & mine is still in blocks!
