Puttering away

My friend, Janine, finished some more quilts and I put the bindings on them this last week. This one is a Christmas quilt. The picture does not do it justice. It is really a pretty quilt.
Here are the 2 Halloween and 1 Christmas all ready for Janine to pick up.
I've also been working on my Buggy Barn Bunnies. The 6 sections ready to be trimmed and sewn together. Doesn't look much like a bunny!
Here all 9 bunnies are sewn together. I have to admit this isn't my favorite Buggy Barn quilt. It was not easy to put together. Some of my bunny heads seem to be dipping to the right and the bows don't come anywhere near meeting in the center. I still need to add french knot eyes and felt noses. I may not even put a border on it. Maybe if I walk away for a few days when I come back I'll feel more like working on it again.
Now I've got to get busy on a graduation quilt for the young man across the street. I'm thinking of making a Disappearing Nine Patch using warm Fall colors.

Happy Quilting! Lynda

I think your bunny quilt is adorable but it looks like a nightmare to piece.

Perhaps you could pretend this is the back view of all the bunnies, then you don't need faces! I love the colours of your bunnies and think they are really spring-like.

Your bunny blocks are bright and happy, Lynda. I like the idea of showing bunny tails, maybe do some both ways. Good job on the binding work!

So brave, doing the binding on that Christmas quilt! They all look great AND I'm impressed that you're working on an Easter quilt near Easter!
