Sorry about all the
wrinkles but my back has been killing me for a week and I couldn't get down on the floor and smooth them out! (Yes I've been to my
chiropractor and feel much better) I finished my
red and
green star quilt top. It is 86 X 96. I usually don't make my quilts that big anymore but I got carried away. I just love the fabric. It is called Petal Pushers but I forgot who made it. I only used 5 fabrics from the line of about 15 I think. The colors are much brighter in real life.
I love
Halloween and all the bright colors and fun fabrics. This was certainly an easy quilt top to make. I used 10 inch squares, mostly from a Layer Cake, but after cutting and sewing they ended up to be 8 1/4 inch blocks. I think I'll find a polka dot flannel for the back.
Now I'm ready to start cutting and sewing on an Asian inspired purse I bought fabric for over a month ago!
Happy Quilting! Lynda

Both quilts are fantastic, but I especially love the Halloween quilt. I love to decorate for Halloween...
I too love that petal pusher fabric, it's gorgeous! I love Halloween fabric too, and have plenty, but I never seem to make much with it. Sorry to hear your back is acting up - feel better soon.
Wonderful star quilt! And it seems you are already getting ready for Halloween! Good for you ;). I hope your back is behaving itself!!!
I've never seen that Petal Pusher fabric, but I love the quilt.
The halloween quilt is wonderful!
Polka dots would be a PeRfEcT backing I think!
Cheers :)
Both quilts are beautiful!! Great job!
I always love Halloween quilts -- but I have too many already. So I'm going to focus on autumn colors for my next project. Love the stars quilt -- you can never go wrong with the red and green palette.
The star top is GORGEOUS. The Halloween top is a bit scary :( spiders all over it :( I hope you are feeling better.
