Really.....I've been busy!

I have been sewing.....really. But I've also been back up to see our new baby two times after I spent the first week with them. And she's only 3 1/2 weeks old. I know, I know. I'm sure they may be getting tired of me. But, oh I need to kiss those little cheeks! I crocheted a simple edge around a blanket for a friend also. She is decorating her baby's room in frogs. They don't know yet if its a boy or a girl.
And......I've been making one more row of string blocks to even out my string quilt. It just bothered me that 3 sides ended in red and 1 side ended in blue. I've also made the outside border for it.

I should have completed more but I've been fighting some wierd cough since before our baby was born. I spent the first week with her wearing a mask so I would not cough on her. I've had a chest xray which came out clear so now the doctor thinks maybe its an infection that is hanging on or even allergies. I'm sure tired of this constant hacking!
There's a big 4th of July sale going on at a local quilt shop so I just may have to go shopping. After all, I have used quite a few reds and blues...........
Happy Quilting! Lynda

You got to kiss that sweet baby face! She is adorable in that photo, too. Don't forget to go in and update your "about me" to include this girl!

I know what you mean about another row to balance, I have done that same thing. Hey, if it makes us happier with the finish, then, why not?

Hope that cough goes soon. Happy 4th!
